The Weapon for These Times: 54 Day Rosary Novena for Divine Assistance

Have you read the news lately? It is seemingly nothing but terrorism, beheadings, mass murders, suicide, sexual anarchy, persecution, and even blatant Satan worship. While one might argue that such things have always existed in human history, I am convinced that evil is emboldened, and that it is being unleashed in a way not seen in a very long time.
In the face of such an onslaught of darkness, what are we to do? Should we complain? Should we become depressed and despairing? No. We must pray.
Throughout salvation history, God’s people have always been delivered through persistent prayer and sincere penance. Great military victories like the battles at Vienna and Lepanto demonstrate clearly that there is no victory without God’s help—help obtained through humble and fervent prayer.
And when it comes to spiritual warfare, there are few prayers more powerful than the rosary. Sister Lucia of Fatima once said, “The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult, whether temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, or of our families, that cannot be solved by the Rosary.”
Because of the tidal wave of evil being unleashed against all that is good and true, and in light of the powerful efficacy of the rosary, I want to encourage you to participate in an upcoming 54 day rosary novena for marriage, the family, the sanctity of human life, and the rights of Holy Church, beginning on the Feast of the Archangels, this coming Monday, September 29th.
