Prayer Requests

A reader writes:
Any chance I could float a prayer request to you for my upcoming dissertation defense on Friday the 13th?
Father, hear our prayer for his successful defense of his dissertation and smooth sailing into a Ph.D. through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary, Seat of Wisdom, pray for him.
Another reader writes:
Asking for prayers for my wife and soon to be born daughter Carolyn. She was diagnosed with trisomy 18 and isn’t expected to live long. Prayers for her soul and grace for the rest of us to persevere. We hope to be a pro-life witness to our other children through this.
Father, grant eternal life and the grace of a happy death to this little one. And give grace, peace, consolation, strength, faith, hope and love to her and all who love her. Our Lady of Sorrow, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
